Speaker Construction
Here's a quick pic of the speaker's I'll be using (subwoofer, controls, etc.. not shown)
Here's how I setup the holes for the front, ledgers for the side, and most importantly, how I mounted the speakers. Using the garden stakes, I pre-drilled and screwed them into the speaker panel at the exact width of the speaker. Then, using 1" drywall screws and rubber bungee cord, I put one screw in, tighetned it enough to hold it securely, but not crush the speaker, I screwed it into the other side.
One screw to take them off and put them back off, no rattling, nothing shows from the outside, and VERY secure :) As you can see, the maple plywood did NOT like the spade bit very much. I'm glad I made the CP out of MDF!
