Painting
I didn't take pics of the priming, because there's not much to see. If you really insist, you can save the pics below, and invert the color scheme so that all the black is white, and you'll have the general idea. I used Killz Oil based primer, and Glidden Satin latex black final coat paint.
First I used black paintable caulk in all of the seams just to make sure they were solid/no crack showing (most didn't need it, but 1 or 2 seams did.)
